Fresno County Courthouse: Behind the Scenes

By KSEE News

KSEE 24 News spent several weeks following those who make the courthouse function. We took a close look at how inmates are organized and transported from the jail to the courthouse for their court appearances. We also followed an attorney for the public defender's office. The head public defender said the pay for his attorneys is far less than that of other public defenders in the state of California. We finally caught up with a judge. His courtroom is packed on almost a daily basis. He can hear up to 100 cases a day.
