On The Map: Huntington Lake

Tools

By KSEE News

Our lakes in the nearby Sierra National Forest provide a natural cooling center in the summer, and a snowy wonderland in the winter. It's characterized by 3 dams, and while the lake serves a purpose for hydro-power, recreation is the priority. Valley residents have been coming here for years to breathe in this natural beauty, and in this edition of On The Map, Justin Willis takes us on a tour of the development of Huntington Lake.
