Genetic Journey

By Megan Valentine

How far back can you track your family tree? One generation? Two? Maybe farther? If you’ve ever been curious about your family origins there’s now a way to chart the story of our ancient history, the path traveled by our ancestors in our very distant past that somehow brought us to where we live today.

It's a world-wide project, utilizing modern genetics, to learn how humans colonized the earth-- in other words, where we came from, and how we may be intertwined as members of one extended family.

KSEE 24 News anchor Stefani Booroojian went on a “Genetic Journey” to discover more about her past and show you more about this revolutionary project.
