Shuttle Atlantis Landing

By KSEE Sunrise

Space shuttle Atlantis and its crew of seven have landed at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The shuttle touched down at 6:07 a.m. Pacific time Wednesday. Its 5 million-mile, 13-day journey was highlighted by the delivery of a new European space station lab.

NASA wanted Atlantis back as soon as possible to clear the way
for the Navy to shoot down a dying space satellite. That could
happen as early as Wednesday night.
