Caltrans will be working on Highway 99 in Fresno Tuesday night. The work comes two weeks to the day since Regan Johnson was killed in the same area.
Tonight's cone zone will be set up in the southbound direction of Highway 99. It will run from the San Joaquin River Bridge down to Herndon Avenue.
The right lane will be closed from 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night to 5:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
CHP and Caltrans have been stressing to everyone the importance of driving carefully through construction zones. Two more road workers were killed in Southern California over the weekend.
