14 tractors were destroyed along with several trailers Sunday morning at the Harris Ranch feed lot in Coalinga. The Animal Liberation press office released a statement on behalf of an anonymous arsonist(s) Monday. According to the statement, kerosene was used to ignite the tractors.

A spokesperson for the press office says Harris Farms was targeted because it's one of the biggest factory farms in the nation. "We know that this action won't shut down such a large-scale industry, such as the cattle industry and beef industry, but it will make animal exploitation expensive."

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office says the investigation is ongoing, but investigators believed from the beginning arson was to blame.
