The highway patrol is looking for a driver involved in a fatal hit and run accident Wednesday morning.
According to the CHP, a driver ran into a concrete divider on Highway 99 at McKinley early Wednesday morning. Another car stopped to help. Someone in that car, 22-year-old Shacorie Hood, was hit by another passing car as she ran across the freeway.
She died at the hospital. The driver of that car fled the scene. The car is described as silver, possibly an Acura or Honda.
