A 30-year-old validated gang member is dead after an officer involved shooting shortly before 4:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon near Cedar and Dakota.
Fresno Police say the man was wanted in connection with a November 10th shooting in Pinedale. When officers approached to serve a search warrant, the suspect reached for a handgun. After repeated requests to surrender his weapon, officers opened fire, killing the suspect.
