4 month old conjoined twins who were born connected at the chest and abdomen were successfully separated on Monday.
It took 6 hours on the operating table and 4 teams of doctors working simultaneously to complete the surgery.
The twin girls are being closely supervised at the intensive care unit of Shanghai Children's Medical Center.
