In order to close a more than $26 billion deficit, cuts have been proposed to virtually every California state program, including those for the developmentally disabled.

On Wednesday, advocates for the disabled rallied in front of the Capitol calling on lawmakers to spare funding for programs they say are vital to those living with disabilities.

Valley disabled residents and their caregivers are closely watching what happens in Sacramento. Several sat down with KSEE 24 News to talk about the looming cuts.
