Ms. Bishop is head of performing arts at Clovis North High School. Her choirs have won all kinds of state awards. She's considered one of the top choir teachers in California.

"They develop a skill, whether it be drama, band or choir and stick with it and really hone their skills and some of them go on to pursue music careers. My own children have."
One of those children, her son, William. "There's always been music in our house and all my family is involved with choir and band and all the music arts. I just love being in choir."

Different styles, different notes, different ranges. Heather Bishop gets the most out of her students, and their voices.
"It's a way of expressing themselves that maybe they don't get to do outside of school. And this is a place, maybe they aren't feeling it with the other kids, but it's a way personally that they can experience that, for an hour a day."
