Fresno Fire Crews Rescue Man From Chimney

It happened at an empty home in central Fresno. Firefighters dropped a rope to pull the man out. He was taken to the hospital with neck and back injuries.

Neighbors heard the homeless man yelling for help Friday morning and called 9-1-1.

"I didn't think I'd ever see that. I didn't think I'd ever see that," said one neighbor.

"It never even entered my mind. How someone could be that dumb I'm just glad he didn't go head first," said another neighbor.

Neighbors tell us police raided the home the night before. They say police found four homeless people inside at the time.
