Hundreds of people rushed to grocery stores, Wednesday, to make last minute Thanksgiving dinner purchases. Some shoppers told KSEE 24 they were just picking up several more ingredients they needed. Some families we spoke with told us they just started grocery shopping for Thanksgiving! Workers said they had prepared for this day for weeks by making sure their shelves were stacked and they had enough manpower for long lines. If you are extremely last minute, FoodsCo on First and Shields in Fresno will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thanksgiving Day. Several SaveMart Centers in the valley will also be open Thanksgiving day from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
