A mother and three children were taken to the hospital after being hit by a car in Aurora, Colorado.
According to Aurora police, the woman was trying to lead the kids across the street but was not in a designated crosswalk. She turned to protect the 2-year-old she was carrying a split second before they were hit by a white car and both were both pinned under the vehicle.
An on duty police officer who was at a nearby Walmart and two Good Samaritans helped lift the car off the woman.
