Over 40 employers were looking to hire Wednesday at the Community Job Fair held at Heald College.
Fresno County's unemployment rate is at nearly 15%, and it showed as people lined up for the fair.
The career fair at the college gave people the chance to interact with employers in different fields from restaurant management to financial planning.
"The rate is high, but at the same time there are open positions. It's just employers are struggling to find people with the right qualifications. We definitely can feel, in career services, we feel an increase in job opportunities."
