Gun Discharges in School Cafeteria, Injures Three

Authorities continue to investigate a shooting at a Houston, Texas elementary school. Three children were injured today when a gun accidentally discharged in the school's cafeteria.

A six-year old kindergartner apparently took the handgun to school. The gun fell to the ground and discharged while his class was in the cafeteria for lunch period.

The child who was carrying the gun was among those injured. All three children were injured by bullet fragments. Authorities report none of the injuries were life-threatening.
