On Monday night, Clovis Police arrested 43-year-old Patrick Foster. He's accused of burglarizing the Kohl's Department store at the Sierra Vista Mall. Foster is now on paid administrative leave from his job as a correctional officer at the Madera County Jail.

Employees at the Kohl's Department store called 9-1-1 after they saw three people stealing. Officers chased the suspects to an apartment complex near Shaw and Peach.

28-year-old Jeffery Wilson, 30-year-old Henry Canty and 25-year-old Heather Howard were all arrested for the burglary.

Foster told police he was a victim who was carjacked. Investigators later discovered Foster was involved in the whole thing. Police say he was driving the getaway car.

Foster is a correctional officer at the Madera County Jail. He has worked at the jail for three years and is currently on paid administrative leave.
