Fresno County Sheriff's deputies have found the two trucks associated with a person of interest in a missing person’s case. Ernie Chanmany is being sought for questioning in the disappearance of a Sanger teen. The vehicles were found just off Whitesbridge and N. Hayes Avenue, in Fresno County.

The two trucks were found inside an almond orchard, about 100 feet from the road. Deputies say the owner of the orchard called law enforcement at around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, to tell them he found the trucks. When deputies arrived, they were able to confirm that the two trucks, 1995 emerald green Dodge Ram and 1997 red Dodge extended cab are the trucks they have been looking for. Fresno County Sheriff’s public information Officer Chris Curtice said, “Both are at two different rows of the same orchard. There is no body in either one of the vehicles, but they are currently being processed by our evidence unit.”

The two trucks are registered to 21 year old Ernie Chanmany’s family. Chanmany is a person of interest in the disappearance of 16 year old Sammy Mercado. Mercado hasn't been seen since last Thursday, when he and two other people went to a marijuana grow in Fresno County to steal some plants. Deputies believe he was shot or injured in the process.
