People camped in long lines across the nation overnight in hopes of buying the new Air Jordan XI Retro Concord sneakers.
The one of a kind shoes went on sale at midnight. A mall in Richmond suspended sales after someone fired shots while thousands were waiting in line outside.
In Fresno, crowds rushed into stores trying to get their hands on them. "I bought six pairs, this is my seventh. So I'm ready. I'm ready just to wear 'em relax and if somebody comes and says 500, they're theirs, they can have 'em."
The new Air Jordan shoes sell for $180 to $200 a pair.
