Dozens of Star Wars fanatics in Fresno decided to take their love for "The Force" a little further on "May the Fourth be With You!"

Jedis and Storm Troopers were all over the Tower District, Friday Night. Yoda worshippers consider May 4th, "Star Wars Day." They made sure to spread the love all night long with the phrase, "May the Fourth be with you." Many were dressed up in Star Wars costumes and participated in Fresno's first ever Star Wars pub crawl. Patrick Quiring is the man behind the idea. He explained, "This all came about when we started doing a zombie pub crawl in October and I decided I wanted something a little more universal, bring in different types of people and Star Wars was just a natural progression."

The event started at the Livingstone parking lot. First on the agenda was a flash mob performance and Quiring's surprise proposal to his girlfriend. The happy couple and dozens of other people then crawled from bar to bar. Ten of the bars at the Tower District offered themed drinks, some of which were called Blaster Shots, Sith Shooters and Jedi Mind Tricks.
