All 610 students were handed a gift from Santa and his helpers. Also, snow was brought down from the mountains for the kids to enjoy. Most of the students have never experienced snow. Some kids even had the chance to ride in a limo and ride down Christmas Tree Lane.

Vice-principal Lorena Federico says she hopes this teaches the students about the gift of giving. "It's very rare that something like this happens, and so we're hoping that this instills in them the gift of giving, and how good that feels to give."

The snow, gift and limo rides were done in thanks to the generosity of Fresno businessman Jerry Steward and the Fresno Police Department. This is the sixth year Jerry Steward and his business partners have done something like this during Christmas.
