Beth Caffrey with the Central California SPCA introduced us to a beautiful purebred Border Collie named Rusty. Rusty is about 4 years old, has a wonderful, playful personality,and a beautiful brown and white coat. He's very energetic and requires a lot of attention. Please act fast because Rusty has been at the SPCA for more than a month.

Just a quick update to let you know … even as we speak … hundreds of volunteers from across the Central Valley are busy brushing coats, teeth, hair and nails and generally sprucing and preening about 660 dogs, cats puppies and kittens … preparing them for:

More than 22 groups offering 660 adorable adoptables … dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, long ears, short ears, long coats, short coats, long tails, short tails and just about every color and combination you can think of … and a few you probably can’t … it’s hard to believe that anyone looking for a perfect companion couldn’t find one at SUPER ADOPTION 2011!
It’s a fun-filled day with something for everyone! Live music from “True Blue” on the main stage. A “Kids’ Korner” with activities all day long. Demonstrations, Puppy Parades and Kitty Katwalks. Professional advice at the “Ask the Vet” and “Ask the Trainer” booths. Information on responsible animal care, and so much more!
A great way to spend a couple of hours – even if you’re not looking to adopt right now – it’s a great way to come learn about the animals and all the things you can easily do to help ease the suffering of unwanted pets. It’s surprisingly easy to do.
All animals are spayed/neutered; current on shots and vaccines and many are microchipped. All are ready to go home with you immediately! $120 dog and $70 cat adoption fees make these adorable adoptables one of the best investments you can make in your family!
