A Huron tree trimmer has died after getting trapped on a palm tree.
The accident happened this afternoon just before 3.
Fresno County firefighters say the man was trimming palm fronds, when he became trapped.
Firefighters spent several hours trying to loosen his body from the debris.
Vince Burgland, Fresno County Fire: "The top broke loose and came down on top of him. He was trapped underneath the debris."
Firefighters say the man's body was covered so heavily by the debris, that they couldn't see him when they first arrived.
