Mr. Martinez, a resident of Parlier, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the age of 73. He was a laborer.

He is survived by his sons; Amado Martinez, Jose Luis Martinez, Domingo Martinez, Bertoldo Martinez, Aristeo Martinez, Nolberto Martinez, Alfredo Martinez, Juan Carlos Martinez, Jesus Martinez and Jorge Martinez all of Parlier; sisters, Elfega Martinez, Evelia Martinez, Elva Martinez and Maria Guadalupe Martinez all of Parlier, Rosalba Martinez of Compton; and 24 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Basilia Villanueva.

Visitation will be held at Wallin’s Parlier Funeral Home, on Thursday, June 28, 2012, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, with a Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 PM.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Parlier on Friday, June 29, 2012. at 9:00 AM, interment to follow at Mendocino Cemetery.
