Shirley L. Ward

(March 21, 1936 - October 4, 2009)

Shirley Ward passed away Sunday October 4, 2009 in Kingsburg, CA at the age of 73. Shirley was the only child of Orville and Pauline Rogers. She was born March 21, 1936 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Shirley moved to Selma as a young child with her family and lived here ever since. The love for her garden and a good book will never be forgotten.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband Carl Ward.

Shirley is survived by her children Allan Mooney and his wife Charlotte of Orosi, Brenda Carrizales and her husband Carlos of Laton, and Roger Ward of Sacramento; grandchildren April Mooney of Kingsburg, Ray Mooney of Fresno, Melissa Trevino and her husband Mike of Selma, Joseph Ward of Selma, Carl and Brandon Carrizales of Laton, James and Jamie Mooney of Orosi; and Great-Grandchildren Haylie Ward of Selma and Leanna Trevino of Selma.

A Graveside Service will be held Monday October 19, 2009 at Floral Memorial Park in Selma, CA at 10:00 am
