Christa Diaz

Christa Danielle Diaz our beloved angel departed this life on Sunday November 1, 2009 all too soon, at the age of 16. The devoted daughter of Mary J Noriega and Armando Diaz, Christa was born on April 12, 1993 in Madera where she has lived her whole life. Christa was a junior at Madera High School North Campus where she was loved and accepted by her wide circle of friends. Christa loved to dance and be among her family and friends. Her smile would light up the room when she entered.

In addition to her parents, Christa is survived by her cherished grandmothers, Maria Holguin Frausto and Margaret Diaz both of Madera. She is the beloved sister of Fidel and Mandy Garcia, Miguel and Evelyn Garcia, Victoria and Ruben Nanez and Anjelica Diaz. She is the adored aunt of Mary Esperanza Garcia, Joseph Christian Garcia, Savannah Jazae Garcia, Ruben Ethen Garcia.

Christa’s family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for the care and concern manifested by the prayers and kind expressions of concern given. A special word of thanks to the physicians and staff of Children’s Hospital of Central California for their loving and excellent care; it will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 8, 2009 from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. in Jay Chapel in Madera. A Vigil Service will be Monday, November 9, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. in St. Joachim Catholic Church; a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, 11:00 A.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church with interment following at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
