(March 8, 1933 - November 13, 2009)

Ronald Blanton of Fresno passed away on Friday, November 13, 2009 at the age of 76. He was a Professor for the California State University Fresno for 33 years.

Ronald was given the title of Professor Emeritus of Industrial Technology and Art and Design in 1998.

He joined the United States Air Force in 1951 and received the National Defense Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. Ronald and his first wife Mary Alice Blanton were married for 40 years.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Blanton of Fresno; daughters, Jill Graham of Fresno and Lisa Willmon of Modesto; step-daughter, Debbie Earp of Fowler; sister, Elna Ragsdale of Merced; five grandchildren; one great grandson.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Bufe Karraker Chapel at Northwest Church on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.
