Monique SoltaniMonique Soltani's first TV appearance was on "The John Davidson Show" many moons ago and it was from that moment she knew she was destined to work in Television. Monique graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and American Studies. After graduating she went on to work as an anchor, reporter and producer at the NBC affiliate in Pocatello, ID. She later went on to work as a host for a pilot at KGTV in San Diego, CA and as a producer, host and actress in Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, Monique studied at the prestigious Groundlings school of improvisation and can be seen on several television shows. In October 2007, Monique joined the Central Valley Today team. Monique plays an integral part on Central Valley Today, from her daily entertainment report, to reporting live from community events, to hosting the show when Alex Delgado is off. Monique is thrilled to call Fresno home again. She was born in the Central Valley and most of her family still lives in the area. Some of Monique’s hobbies include: taking yoga, hanging out at the beach and wine tasting. Drinking wine isn't just for pleasure it's a little business too, she holds a certification from the World Court of Master Sommeliers. Most Popular |
