The Fresno State softball team was nothing but impressive in its opening game of the 2009 NCAA Regionals at Easton Stadium on the campus of UCLA on Friday afternoon. The No. 25 Bulldogs, behind a 16 strikeout performance by Morgan Melloh, defeated UNLV 2-1. Fresno State is 37-18 on the year as Melloh improves to 29-14.
