Derek Carr has been named the Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
The Fresno State quarterback rallied the Bulldogs from a 21-0 deficit to beat New Mexico 49-32 Saturday in Albuquerque. The Junior QB passed for 416 yards and four touchdowns. He completed 31-of-44 passes with one interception while leading an offense that outscored the Lobos 35-8 in the second half.
The 400-yard performance was Carr's second of 2012, tying the Mountain West record for most 400-yard passing games in a season.
