The veterans reported to the practice field at 10:20 a.m. and quickly worked with the newcomers on special teams drills. The rookies were released at 11:40 a.m. and immediately went to the Richiutti Strength and Conditioning center where strength coach Andy Bennett took them through a weight training session to teach specific lifting techniques.

The veterans spent the next 90 minutes working on fundamentals and putting in the basic offense and defense formations.
