Four Fresno State football players were injured in a single car accident in the rain late Friday afternoon. It happened on Highway 99 in Selma. According to Univesity Police Chief David Huerta, the driver of the car was forced to take evasive action when another vehicle pulled out in front. The four student athletes were transported to Fresno Community Regional Medical Center where they were treated and released. A fifth passenger in the car was killed in the accident, while his identity is not being released, Fresno State claims that he is not a student at the university.
The four players are all defensive backs. They are listed as Sharrod Davis( #8), Isaiah Green (#5), Jermaine Thomas (#37) and Terrance Dennis. (Information not available)
