'Dogs prepare for their trip to Reno

Fresno State is 4-1 at Mackay Stadium since 1999

On Saturday afternoon Fresno State will face an unfriendly foe in what has historically been a friendly place. The opponent? The Nevada Wolfpack, winners of six straight games and owners of an umblemished 5-0 WAC record.

The venue for Saturday's game? Mackay Stadium, which has been a home away from home for the Bulldogs since Nevada joined the WAC in 1998. Fresno State is 4-1 in Reno in that span; their last victory, a 49-41 triumph in October 2007, introduced the Wolfpack fans to Ryan Mathews--and the Bulldog fans to Colin Kaepernick.

This week, both return as headliners in this WAC rivalry...and with the 'Dogs lurking behind the Wolfpack and Boise State with a 5-1 WAC record, there's a lot on the line.
