Fresno State tallied a season high-19 steals en route to a 73-46 victory over Utah State at the Save Mart Center on Saturday afternoon.
Fresno State remains in first place in the WAC with a 13-5 record and 4-0 conference mark while Utah State dropped to 10-7 and 2-2 in league.
Emma Andrews had a season-high four steals while Joh-Teena Filipe and a career-high four steals. Every Bulldog played at least 10 minutes and nobody played more than 25 minutes. Jaleesa Ross led three Dogs in double figures with 17 points on eight of 11 shooting from the field. Ross added six rebounds and three steals. Filipe had 14 points and five rebounds while Hayley Munro had 11 points.
The Bulldogs shot 44 percent from the field and held Utah State to 33 percent shooting.
Fresno State remains tied for first place in the WAC with Nevada, their next opponent. The Bulldogs and Wolfpack face off in Reno on Thursday night.
