Former Fresno State basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian suffered a mild heart attack Wednesday evening in Las Vegas according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The 81-year -old Tarkanian started wheezing during a routine doctor's visit. He was taken the the hospital where he was told he suffered a mild heart attack.
He is said to be recovering and in good spirits at MountainView Hospital.
Tarkanian coached at Fresno State from 1995-2002.
