Johnthan Banks of Mississippi State wins the Jim Thorpe Award over Phillip Thomas of Fresno State And Dee Milliner of Alabama.

Thomas, Fresno State senior safety, led the nation with 8 Interceptions, 3 of those he returned for touchdowns.
