Mountain West Publicly Reprimands Rodney Terry

The Mountain West Conference publicly reprimands Rodney Terry for criticizing referees following the Bulldogs 55-51 overtime loss at Wyoming.

Mountain West REPRIMANDS FRESNO STATE MEN’S BASKETBALL COACH

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Fresno State Head Men’s Basketball Coach Rodney Terry has been issued a public reprimand for his remarks critical of game officials. The criticism, which appeared in various media outlets on February 16-17, is in violation of MW Sportsmanship Rule Sections 4.2-e and 4.4.5.

The MW expressed appreciation for the support of the MW Sportsmanship Policy by the Fresno State administration in this matter. The Mountain West will have no further comment regarding this case. The provisions of the MW Sportsmanship Policy can be found in Rule 4 of the MW Handbook – which can be accessed via the Mountain West website at TheMWC.com.
