He was supposed to battle Derek Carr for the starting quarterback job when he signed with Fresno State back in 2008. But by his own admission, he was too immature to handle the pressure. So he left the program. As Senerey De Los Santos reports, Feathers is getting a second chance to play college football, thanks to a former Bulldog.

The Fresno State men's basektball team beats U.C. Riverside 39-30. The Bulldogs were 11-of-39 from the floor (28%). Allen Huddleston scored a game 17 points. The Bulldogs improve to (1-1) on the season. Fresno State will play its home opener Friday at 7 pm against Pacific at the Save Mart Center.
