A rally was held Friday morning for members of the Washington Union High School football team. The panthers will make their way to Carson to take on Campolindo High for the state division three title. Students formed a human tunnel to show their support for the team.
Head coach Jeff Freitas says his team is geared up for the challenge: "We're extremely excited. We've earned out way down there and we want to make the valley proud, and bring a championship back."
The game takes place Saturday at noon, and will be broadcast on Comcast Sports Net California.
