LAST WEEK, THE CAL ODYSSEY 16 AND UNDER TEAM TURNED HEADS IN THE U.S. SOCCER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM, MAKING A RUN TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. THEY FELL ONE GOAL SHORT OF THE TITLE, BUT IN DOING SO PUT THE CENTRAL VALLEY ON THE MAP IN THE SOCCER WORLD.
IN THIS WEEK'S STAR OF THE WEEK SEGMENT RALPH GASTON CAUGHT UP WITH A FEW MEMBERS OF THE TEAM TO GET THEIR THOUGHTS ON AN AMAZING TOURNAMENT RUN.

I watched these games at the Home Depot center in L.A. The boys played unbelievably. Sadly, none of these incredible athletes will be playing for the nonexistent Fresno State Boys Soccer.
