The Chicago Rush, of the Arena Football League, has offered Terrell Owens a $400 a week contract to play during the 2012 season.
Tuesday Owens invited NFL scouts to watch him workout. But only media showed up for the event.
Owens, 37, is an unsigned free-agent after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament and have surgery in April.
