Former Fresno State assistant Brett Frank has been promoted to acting head coach this season for the Ole Miss women's basketball team.
Frank was an assistant to Adrian Wiggins, who was officially fired Monday following allegations of impermissible recruiting and academic misconduct by two of his other assistant coaches.
In addition to Frank's promotion, former Bulldog Taja Edwards, who graduated in 2011, has been elevated from video coordinator to assistant coach.
Ole Miss says it will conduct a national search for a new head coach at the end of the 2012-2013 season.
