Jose Ramirez is one win away from making U.S. Olympic Boxing Team

Lightweight Jose Ramirez, Avenal, won his first bout at the Americas Olympic Qualifier in Brazil. Ramirez defeated Michael Alexander, Trinidad & Tobago, with a third round TKO. Ramirez needs one more win to clinch a spot in the Summer Olympics in London. Ramirez' next fight will be on Wednesday against Alejandro Rynn of Canada.
