Fresno Pacific earned a spot in the National Christian College (NCCAA) Tournament in Indiana next week, claiming the NCCAA West Region title with a 109-105 win over Azusa Pacific.
John Taylor scored 39 points, Matt Samuels had 20 and Malcolm Griffin added 19 as the Sunbirds fought off a furious second half run by the Cougars.
FPU improved to 13-0 on its home court and 20-7 overall.
