Fellow Dogs,
For the past two years myself and a few others have been doing everything in our power to get that fire burning back in all alumni. There has been tremendous turnout with both spring game tailgates and the bowling event that was put on last year. We want to thank everyone for their support and hope the fire continues to burn for years to come.
The time has arrived to get everyone together again! Homecoming weekend will be called 'Bring It Home Weekend!' and we hope you can attend. The weekend will include a BBQ cook off, alumni tailgate at ESPN Zone, being honored on the field pre-game, forming a tunnel for current dogs as they run out on the field! Details are below:

Keeping Youth Journeying Onward (KYJO) combines the passion for Bulldog football and inspiring kids
BBQ Cook-Off: This will feature us teaming up with local/regional BBQ masters. You won't have to BBQ, per se, but your job will be to talk a lot of trash to your bulldog brothers and cheer your team on to victory. Offense vs. Defense, O-line vs. D-line, RB vs. LB, WR vs. DB etc...Whatever fires you up? Your presence alone will mean the world to the competitors and the kids we serve in our program.

On the Field Alumni Recognition: All football alumni in attendance will be recognized/honored by walking down on the field prior to the game. They will have us walk down to the field in recognition of all eras of Bulldog football. So it doesn't matter if you were a walk-on to first round draft pick, ALL are welcomed! All of us have helped the program in some way, shape or form so please come and be honored in front of all the fans!
Once the recognition for alumni is completed, we then will proceed to form a human runway/tunnel for the current Dogs' to run through after they are introduced. Well, I wish I had got an opportunity to run through a mob of alumni before a game. Their eyes will light up! I’m excited for "US" just talking about it!
I have run this idea by other alumni and this recognition of all players has never been done before to their knowledge. This will be a first for Bulldog history. At Coach Brown's funeral there were over 300 alumni in attendance. Let's not wait for something tragic to happen for us to get together as alumni again! September 29th at Bulldog Stadium, let’s have so many alumni in attendance that it will be that awwwww factor for all! You will be a part of history in the making.
