Fresno State running back Robbie Rouse was named Friday as one of 50 "players to watch" by the Walter Camp Football Foundation for its 2012 Player of the Year award.
This is the fourth national award watch list that the senior has been named to this summer. Rouse was named Thursday to the Doak Walker Award watch list and previously to the Maxwell Award and CFPA All-Purpose Trophy lists.
Rouse enters the 2012 season as the nation's fourth-leading active rusher with 3,157 rushing yards. He only needs 317 more yards to break Ron Rivers' school record that he set back in 1993 for the most rushing yards in a career.
