Pat Hill would not name a starter for Saturday's WAC Opener at Utah State but A.J. Ellis figures to be the Bulldogs go to back against the Aggies.
Ellis will split carries with Michael Harris and Tracy Slocum. Starting running back Robbie Rouse is battling a sore shoulder and will not make the trip to Logan, Utah.
Ellis had one carry for six yards in the Bulldogs season opener against Cincinnati.
The Dogs will face Utah State Saturday at 5pm in Logan, Utah.
