A calf injury might sack the rest of the season for Washington State quarterback Jeff Tuel.
The former Clovis West High School standout suffered a bruised calf early in the first half of the Cougars 44-21 loss to Oregon State on Saturday.
He also re-aggravated the area around his left clavicle fracture, an injury that sidelines him for more than a month earlier this season.
Sunday night Tuel checked into Pullman Regional Hospital to drain blood from his right calf.
Cougars head Coach Paul Wulff said he doesn't expect Tuel to miss the remaining five games of the season but he could be out the next two weeks.
The Junior Quarterback has played in just 3 game this season, throwing for just 276 yards and a touchdown.
