Bullard High School's basketball team is just one game away from a state title. The entire school showed the team it's support during a pep rally, Friday afternoon. There were plenty of cheers, dancing, and good luck wishes. A miracle shot has given it's players a chance at beating the state's top ranked team. If Bullard High wins against Mater Dei in Ontario, it will advance to the state finals. Players say they are excited and ready to bring home another win.

“We're just going to come out and do what we do and play defense, rebound,” said basketball player, Walter Orr. He made the game winning miracle shot against Long Beach Poly.

Basketball player, Mark Anderson explained, “They (Mater Dei) post all their games online so we know what they're capable of and we feel we could matchup against them.”

The players left for Ontario, Friday evening. The school is expected to take about six buses to the game, to show support. The big match begins at 8 p.m., Saturday.
