A standoff that lasted more than 10 hours Monday, ended peacefully after the suspect, accused of stealing a car and pointing a gun at officers, was arrested at a home near California and Los Angeles in South West Fresno.
The suspect was identified as Jose Avalos,24. Investigators say he has gang ties and had outstanding felony warrants.
